On the weekends of June 21 and 22, and June 28 and 29 during the 2025 Santa Fe Studio Tour, Sue and I will welcome visitors to our home and studios to see our current creations. Sue’s an award winning ceramicist who creates hand-built pottery in a variety of genres using a variety of techniques, and my photography, as you can see on this website, covers a broad range of subjects that have consumed my life for more than seven decades.  Sue also will invite you into her garden, where she always has several of her one-of-a-kind whimsical totems on display and where she experiments with new ideas to complement the natural beauty of the roses and other plant species. This will be my second year to participate in this tour, and Sue’s third and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to  meet and spend time with a growing audience.

The Santa Fe Studio Tour which traditionally has been preceeded by a gallery showing will, this year, be presented on-line at info@santafestudiotour.com, and it will remain on-line for a year so you can stay in touch with your favorite artists.  On the weekends, the artists’ studios will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. And, you’ll have opportunities to attend workshops, lectures, and demonstrations through the week of June 23-27.

Download the Santa Fe Studio Tour App for complete information and updates.

During the week of June 23-27, I’d like to provide my visitors an opportunity to participate in what I call “A Conversation with the Photographer.” I did this the last time I participated in The Santa Fe Studio Tour and it turned out to be a stimulating experience for everyone who came, whether they were collectors, serious photographers or just liked to look at pictures and talk about where they’d been.

We’ll gather in my living room, surrounded by images that I hope will provide inspiration. I’ll answer your questions, you’ll talk about things that interest you and I’ll pass along my feelings about the work I do. I’ve done a lot of teaching, but I promise not to lecture you as I share relevant experiences.

I’m thinking we’ll do this at 5:30 on the evening of Thursday, June 26th, and you must contact me before then and reserve your place. I find that I need to limit participation to 20 people because that’s all I have space and chairs for.

Call or Send me an email by using the information on the contact page of this website, and lest I forget to mention it, attendance is FREE!
